The Doctoral School of Molecular Medicine (DSMM) is to prepare the next generation of leading researchers by providing a vibrant and productive research environment. Our Doctoral School offers lectures, practical courses, national and international conferences and seminars. The laboratories are equipped with modern technological platforms that will ensure your research is successful which makes our Doctoral School one of the best in the country. The University provides a stimulating and supportive environment in which students are taught to conduct research of the highest quality from both a qualitative and quantitative point of view. The Debrecen School of Molecular Medicine (DSMM) was initiated and established with the needs and demands of the rapidly developing medical community in mind. Although initially the school will be offering medical education for international students, it has eventually been designed to provide undergraduate training for Hungarian students as well. The programs of the doctoral school focus on the biophysical, biochemical and physiological aspects of cellular signaling pathways of excitable and non-excitable cells. The DSMM provides a variety of projects within three doctoral programs: "Molecular and cell biology of cellular signaling", "Membrane physical questions and methods" and "Physiology and neurobiology".
