In order to achieve this goal, the training has to be multidimensional as it is to provide a good grasp of the theoretical foundations and the technical literature in the relevant scientific field, as well as the capacity for conducting independent research in an analytical and synthesizing manner. The goal must also include the ability for independent, creative thinking that enables one to formulate new research ideas and objectives, which is of utmost importance at an early stage of one's scientific career. Obtaining scientific methodological skills and using these methods are a requirement during the PhD course.
