Overview

Master’s level physiotherapists have a lot of knowledge and skills. They use this to create therapeutic procedures and protocols. They also take into account physical, anatomical, physiological, and pathological factors. This allows them to help people with physical problems and improve their abilities. They also contribute to solving scientific problems in physiotherapy and help find new skills and knowledge in their area of expertise. A physiotherapist's day-to-day tasks involve scientific research of different physiotherapeutic methods, conducting clinical studies, and publishing new findings. They also oversee hospital units of physiotherapy and make sure that everything is running smoothly and according to regulations. Furthermore, they are responsible for promoting health education on various levels within the community.

Syllabus

• The first semester gives students a broad overview of topics, from clinical science to biophysics and research methodology.
• In the second semester, they start to focus on specific areas of interest, like evidence-based interventions and active therapeutic exercises. This is also when they start working on their Thesis.
• In the third semester, students integrate scientific research into their clinical practice and submit and defend their Thesis.
