Art and Design Management MA

Art and Design enable students to learn creative design solutions which reflect contemporary design, art scenes, and trends.

Overview

The program is designed to comprehend and tackle contemporary design, Focusing on Design-oriented and business-related issues which are part of the real art world.

Students are going to study:

• Project management and skills focusing on practice orientation
• Cooperation techniques
• Flexible knowledge: knowledge of the contemporary art and design scene combined with entrepreneurial skills

Specialization

• Curatorial studies
• Fashion studies

Specializations are launched only if a sufficient number of students wish to join the specialization.

Structure of the program

First Year

• Foundation subjects- mostly in theory
• Contemporary art and design scene, institutional system
• Insight into various projects (expos, festivals design studios)
• Development of writing and presentation skills
• Institution-specific skills e.g. exhibition, film festival theatre management

Second year

Economic knowledge and management skills
