The BA program in Communication and Media Science is about tackling modern media tools and uprising trends in digital technologies.

Overview

New web-based technologies are closely tied to the development of communications and the media, and they give us a powerful new way to deepen our understanding of what's going on in the world.

Our designed innovative subjects play a vital role to equip students with well-crafted portfolios. We want our graduates to be well-versed in the latest communication tools, but we also want them to learn how to use them in a way that prioritizes any problem that may occur in their future careers

• Media Workshop: The Media Workshop is a platform for students who wish to discover new forms of journalism and the immediate future of the world of the media. If you want to taste the spinning atmosphere of an editorial office, try what a ”one-man-crew” can do or if you are a real news junkie, you are most welcome on board. Students working for the Media Workshop may also see their names in print in the national media.

Special emphasis on

• Teaching creative communication: writing, speaking and problem-solving skills; development of critical thinking and negotiating abilities; learning techniques of assertiveness.
• Social media teaching: understanding the new type of communications and the radical changes of social media publicity and conscious usage of it; features of social networks.
• Project-based education: providing the opportunity for students to experience teamwork and active creativity.
