Study Biology at University of Szeged

Admission Requirements for Postgraduate Programs
The postgraduate programs at the University of Szeged are open to candidates who meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must hold an undergraduate or bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited institution in one of the following fields: Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Pharmacy, Agriculture, or related areas.
- A minimum of B2 intermediate level proficiency in English is required.

- Letter of interest in English, to be submitted through the designated application system
- Notarized English translation of the bachelor's degree certificate (for applicants to MSc programs)
- Official full transcripts of prior higher education studies (with notarized English translation)
- Copy of the passport showing relevant details (passport number, name, photo, and expiration date)
- Recent medical certificate confirming satisfactory health status (not older than one month at application time)
- Two recommendation letters from recognized academic staff members
Academic records must be submitted in English or accompanied by certified translations.
Language Proficiency Requirements
- Proof of English proficiency is required. Acceptable certifications include:
- FCE or CAE
- IELTS score of at least 5.5
- TOEFL iBT score of 69 or higher
- TELC/ECL B2, RPDT 72, Cambridge FCB, LanguageCert B2 level

Additional Requirements
- At least two reference letters must be provided. Contact details of the referees are needed for the system to request the reference letters directly, or they can be uploaded with the application documents.
