The Early Childhood Education minor prepares students to pursue a career in early childhood education. The program provides the opportunity to gain experience in the field of young learners, arranging field experiences in pre-schools, daycare centers, and Head Start programs. Students will become familiar with classroom management techniques, curricular offerings, and techniques for observing, recording, and describing young children's growth, development, and learning.
