This program is designed for students who want to pursue a career in early childhood education. It includes basic and intermediate studies in matters related to childhood, such as growth, development, and learning.

Overview

The Early Childhood Education minor prepares students to pursue a career in early childhood education. The program provides the opportunity to gain experience in the field of young learners, arranging field experiences in pre-schools, daycare centers, and Head Start programs. Students will become familiar with classroom management techniques, curricular offerings, and techniques for observing, recording, and describing young children's growth, development, and learning.

Syllabus

• 1st semester: Introduction to Psychology, Introduction to Pedagogy, Individual Comprehensive Practice.
• 2nd semester: Developmental Psychology, Children's Literature, Games in Pre-school.
• 3rd semester: Methodology of P.E., Environmental Education, Visual Education Methodology, and Comprehensive Practice.
• 4th semester: Music Education, Methodology of Mathematics and Structural Thinking Elective Courses, Comprehensive Practices.
• 5th semester: Family Education, Education and Social Psychology, Cultural Diversity in Texts.
• 6th semester: Family and Children's Law, Special Modules.
