German Foundation Course (General German)

The German Foundation Course (General German) at Eotvos Lorand University is a two-semester preparatory program designed to provide students with the necessary language skills, cultural knowledge, and study skills for successful university studies in Europe and other German speaking countries. This program equips students with the linguistic tools needed to perform at a high level in their degree studies as well as providing them with an insight into the culture of the country they are studying in. With 750 contact hours of instruction, this course is intensive yet comprehensive and provides students with an invaluable opportunity to develop their language ability. Upon completion of this course, graduates will have acquired the necessary skills to begin their degree studies and make full use of their mobility within the European university system.
