Experience Applied Science on the DUE Campus
The University of Dunaújváros in Hungary invites students, families, industry partners and science enthusiasts to Researchers’ Night on 26 September 2025. Designed to showcase the breadth of our applied research, the event will begin at 6 pm and run through the evening in several key buildings—A, P, M, C, and the DUE TV studio. Each venue will host live experiments, demonstrations, and interactive sessions that illustrate the real‑world impact of engineering, natural sciences, and information technology.
Why You Should Attend
- Meet leading researchers who are pushing technology boundaries.
- Witness first‑hand demonstrations of laboratory equipment and simulation tools.
- Explore career paths across disciplines, from materials engineering to data analytics.
- Connect with faculty and current students for networking opportunities.
- Experience hands‑on projects that translate theory into tangible products.
Event Highlights by Building
Building A – Engineering Experiments
Building A hosts a series of short‑form experiments that illustrate principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, and control engineering. Visitors can watch automated test rigs in action and learn how a simple motor design becomes an industrial component.
Building P – Natural Sciences Showcase
In Building P, biology and chemistry labs offer live demonstrations of molecular imaging and field sampling. Bring your curiosity—specimens from local wetlands will be examined under microscopes, while students explain the scientific methods behind the observations.
Building M – Information Technology Applications
Mathematical modeling and algorithmic solutions will be displayed in Building M. Run-throughs of the university’s software development pipeline— from requirement gathering to deployment—give an inside look at how research software evolves into commercial tools.
Building C – Collaborative Innovation
Collaboration between disciplines is a core value at UOD. Build C houses cross‑functional exhibitions that blend robotics with materials science, illustrating how integrated design creates novel devices for industry and society.
DUE TV Studio – Live Broadcast
The studio will air live segments to the campus community and beyond, featuring interviews with researchers, behind‑the‑scenes tours, and audience Q&A. Capture the moment on social media and share the excitement.
