IGCSE – 1 (Grade 9)

IGCSE-1 (Grade 9) at AIC. This program introduces the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, preparing students for future success. With subjects aligned to their interests, including a strong science foundation, AIC enables students to pursue dual diplomas alongside Hungarian Bilingual High School. As Grade 9 concludes, students demonstrate enhanced proficiency in English and Hungarian, positioning them for crucial exams like IELTS, FEDE, and TOEFL. IGCSE-1 coincides with Grade 9, inviting students to join classes and earn two degrees simultaneously, meeting both Hungarian High School and IGCSE requirements. AIC's recognition by EDEXCEL and PEARSON ensures convenient on-campus IGCSE exams, following Cambridge Examinations standards. Upon completion, students progress to Grade 10 and IGCSE-2, while AIC teachers tailor subjects to interests and prepare for A-Level studies. Subjects encompass Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, History, Sociology, Psychology, and Art. Students who've finished AIC's Pre-High School or transfer students from international schools can join IGCSE-1.
