The 8-month preparatory course prepares students for the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree by enhancing academic readiness and English language proficiency. The curriculum is divided into two main segments: the initial four months focus on intensive English language training alongside an introduction to Hungarian language and culture. The latter four months cover foundational natural sciences, including Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while continuing to bolster English language skills.
The course encompasses essential subjects such as English Language, Hungarian Language, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Medical and Pharmaceutical Terminology. Successful completion of the program enables students to bypass the entrance examination requirement for pharmacy studies.
Non-native English speakers must complete an entrance examination that includes both written and oral components to demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum B1 level.
