The General Medicine program at the University of Szeged is structured to provide a comprehensive foundation in essential medical knowledge during the initial two years. Following this foundational phase, the curriculum incorporates regular clinical practice starting in the third year, allowing students to engage actively in the operations of clinical departments and teaching hospitals.
Students have access to advanced scientific laboratories, presenting numerous opportunities for those interested in high-level scientific research. The latter stages of the program include rotation through various medical specialties, where students gain hands-on experience by treating patients under the guidance of experienced physicians. This comprehensive training equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to embark on their careers in medicine.
