Admission Requirements

• Applicants must have completed high school or possess a higher education qualification.
• Applicants should be at least 18 years old by December 31 of the application year; there is no upper age limit.
• Applications are accepted from graduates of recognized high schools or universities.
• Students who did not pass Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or English in their final year of high school are not eligible to apply.
• Final-year high school students may apply and take the entrance examination but must provide proof of enrollment.
• All applicants must take an entrance examination, with a maximum of two attempts permitted within one application cycle if allowed by the Faculty.

Entrance Examination Exemption

The following degree holders may be exempt from the entrance examination:

• GCE A Levels: Minimum grade A in three natural sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Mathematics) and English language. Conditional acceptance may be granted based on predicted grades.
• IB Diploma: Minimum grade 5 in two natural sciences and English language. Predicted grades are considered for conditional acceptance. IB Certificates do not qualify for exemption.
• Bachelor of Science Degree: First Class Honours in Natural, Biomedical, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or Physics with proven English proficiency.

Note: Evaluation of high school diplomas may differ based on curricula.

Entry qualification documents should be submitted in English. Official translations are required if the original documents are not in English. Verified copies (not originals) must be sent to the university via postal mail upon acceptance.

Language Requirements

English language proficiency will be assessed during the entrance examination.

Additional Application Requirements

• At least one reference letter is required.
• A motivation letter must be submitted for each program applied to; each letter should be tailored specifically for the program.
