French MA Preparatory Program Certificate

Admission Requirements

Applicants must hold an undergraduate or Bachelor's degree (or higher). Additionally, a recognized international certificate demonstrating advanced proficiency in French at levels B2-C1 is required. Acceptable certificates include:

• DELF B2 or DALF
• French high school diploma
• French international high school diploma
• Diploma from a high school where instruction was primarily in French, with at least 60% in the French language
• Certificate of completion of six semesters in a French language Bachelor's program

Application and Admission Procedure

To apply, candidates must submit their application documents no later than May 31st. The following steps outline the application process:

1. Pay an application fee of €79.
2. Upon verification of eligibility, applicants will be asked to pay an entrance exam fee of €250.
3. After payment, an entrance exam will be scheduled, where faculty from the chosen department will evaluate applicants’ academic qualifications, language skills, and motivation.
4. Interviews may take place in person at the faculty or via Skype when necessary. Identity verification will occur through submitted documents, and the meeting will be documented.
5. Results will be communicated to applicants. Successful candidates will receive further instructions for the registration process.

Language Requirements

Candidates must demonstrate advanced proficiency in French. The following certificates are accepted for language proficiency:

• DELF B2
• DALF

Applicants who are native French speakers or who have studied in French-speaking institutions may be eligible for a language exam waiver. This includes holders of:

• French high school diploma
• French international high school diploma
• Diploma from a French-language high school with at least 60% in French courses
• Certificate confirming six semesters of study in a French-taught Bachelor's program

Documentation

All entry qualification documents must be submitted in French or accompanied by a certified English translation. It is essential for applicants to bring original documents when finalizing admissions on campus.
