The PhD program in Multidisciplinary Medical Sciences emphasizes a comprehensive approach to both basic and clinical medical research. Admission Requirements for Graduate Programs
Prospective students interested in enrolling in the graduate programs must meet the following criteria:
Entry Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a Graduate or Master's Degree (or higher). Accepted degrees include:
- MSc (Master of Science)
- MD (Doctor of Medicine)
- Mpharm (Master of Pharmacy)
- Degrees in fields such as medical biotechnology, clinical chemistry, biology, info-bionics engineering, biochemical engineering, molecular biology, and biophysics.
- Academic Records: Candidates must submit an official English translation of their full Master’s transcript that includes an explanation of the grading system, along with an official English version or translation of their Master’s degree certificate.
- Specific Expectations: Applicants should have relevant scientific work experience in the aforementioned fields.
- Before applying, candidates must select a research topic proposal and establish contact with the relevant supervisor to agree on the research theme.
Language Proficiency
- Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level (intermediate) or an equivalent international language examination score is required.
Reference Requirements
- Applicants must provide at least two letters of reference.
Additional Requirements for Non-EU Applicants
- In addition to the above criteria, Non-EU applicants must submit:
- An official English version or translation of their full Bachelor’s transcript along with an explanation of the grading system.
- An official English version or translation of their Bachelor’s degree certificate.
- Similar to master’s applicants, non-EU candidates should have relevant scientific work experience and must contact a research supervisor to agree on a topic prior to applying.
