Entry Qualifications
- A completed Graduate or Master's Degree (or higher) is required.
- Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum B2/intermediate level, validated by an accredited language examination or alternative means.
- Submission of a research proposal and participation in an individual interview (either in-person or online) are mandatory.
- Before submitting the application, applicants are encouraged to select a research topic and consult with the doctoral school and a designated supervisor.
Who Should Apply
This program is suitable for individuals with a strong interest in theoretical, historical, typological, and applied linguistic issues. Preference may be given to those with Master's degrees in Hungarian Language and Literature, Foreign Languages, or Theoretical/Applied Linguistics.
