The Doctoral School of Earth Sciences at the University of Szeged is established in the fields of geography and earth sciences, with a distinguished international reputation. Natives from specific countries are exempt from submitting English language exam certificates if they can provide proof that their previous academic instruction was conducted in English. To know more about eligible countries, contact Studygram.
If English was the medium of instruction during the master's program, the MSc diploma may substitute for the language exam certificate. Applicants must upload a confirmation document from the university attesting to this by the application deadline. Failure to provide this document on time will result in a rejection of the application.
For applicants with degrees obtained outside the European Union, their diplomas must be recognized by the Hungarian Equivalence and Information Center (HEIC) before submitting their dissertation. It is the responsibility of the applicant to initiate this process.
Applicants are encouraged to gather and prepare all necessary documents in advance. Original entry qualification documents must be presented upon arrival at the university.
