Admission Requirements

To apply for this program, candidates must possess a graduate or master's degree in Biology or a related field.

Documentation

• Entry qualification documents should be in English.
• Transcripts may be requested from your previous institution; if unavailable, certified translations along with verified copies must be provided.
• Original documents must be presented upon arrival at the university.

Language Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

• TELC/ECL B2
• TOEFL IBT – minimum score of 72
• RPDT 72
• Cambridge FCB
• IELTS – minimum score of 5.5
• LanguageCert B2 level

If the master's program was conducted in English, the diploma may serve as proof of language proficiency. A verification document from the issuing institution must be submitted by the application deadline. Failure to provide this document will result in the diploma not fulfilling the language requirement, leading to application rejection.

For degrees obtained outside the European Union, applicants are responsible for obtaining acknowledgment of their qualifications from the Hungarian Equivalence and Information Center (HEIC) before submitting their dissertation.

• A minimum of two references must be submitted.
• A personalized motivation letter for each program of interest should be included with the application.
• Completion of the online application form.
• Submission of a CV in English.
• A research proposal (2-3 pages in length) must be included.
• An individual interview will be conducted, either in person or online, to discuss the applicant’s motivation and research proposal.
• A recent medical certificate, confirming satisfactory health status (issued within the last six months), is required.
