Program Description
The Sculpture OTM (BA+MA) program at the University of Pécs is a 5-year integrated Bachelor's and Master's degree program instructed in English. This program aims to cultivate adept visual artists with a deep understanding of sculptural expressions, materials, and techniques, bridging modern and classical foundations. Graduates will possess comprehensive technical, professional, aesthetic, and sociocultural knowledge, enabling them to analyze societal needs in their field. Equipped with advanced skills, artistic insight, and awareness of global artistic trends, graduates will adeptly convey intellectual ideas through fine art. The curriculum covers diverse subjects such as Drawing, Sculpture, Anatomy, Art History, Art Theory, Materials and Techniques, Professional Practice, and Studio Work.
Required Documents
- If the applicant has a BA in Fine Arts rather than a high school leaving exam at the time of the admission process, they may apply for recognition of their previous studies.
- Language proficiency certificate
- Portfolio with a minimum of 10 works made with different techniques, preferably color drawings and paintings made in the past 2-3 years,
- The portfolio should therefore include:
- Nude with an object environment, drawing
- Head study, painting
- Creative task (drawing, painting, or collage)
- Skype interview.
