Program Description
The aim of the program is to train educational professionals, who understand that education is a process of human, cultural, and social development that takes place in the family/at home, in communities, in schools, and in the workplace.
Overview
You will learn about key issues facing contemporary societies, such as multiculturalism, minorities, xenophobia, segregation, and inclusion as well as about education in terms of its sociological, psychological, historical, and philosophical aspects.
Syllabus
- 1st semester: Learning-Centered Communication, Pedagogical Beliefs, Education Systems.
- 2nd semester: Comparative Education Sciences, Project Management, Developmental Psychology (and it's Practical).
- 3rd semester: Intercultural Education, Education Policies of Minorities in Europe, Educational Psychology (and its Practical).
- 4th semester: Inclusive Society and Education, Integration, Segregation, and Separation in Education, Conflict Management, and Emotional Intelligence.
- 5th semester: Critical Thinking, Case Discussion of Special Education, Basics of Curriculum Development.
- 6th semester: Counselling Learners – Practical, Contemporary Arts and Education, Remembrance Education.
Required Documents
- Certified and translated (if originals are not in English) copies of school transcripts showing satisfactory completion of senior high school.
- Europass CV in English
- Motivation letter (introduction plus field of interest, etc.) in 3000 to 3500 characters.
- Copy of valid passport or national ID
- A medical certificate, (please fill out the document and attach the serologic test results)
- vaccination card (showing that you are immunized against HEP B)
- HEP A/B/C test*
- HIV test*
- Chest X-ray: Please attach the chest’s X-ray result (not the film!) in English/Hungarian! (not older than 3 months)
- Transfer receipt of the EUR 140 application fee
- Acceptable online language exams:
- Duolingo online exam from score 110
- Official copy of the following language exam certificates:
- TOEFL (iBT internet-based): 66 points (www.ets.org/toefl)
- IELTS: Overall Band Score: 5.5 (www.ielts.org)
- Cambridge ESOL: B2 level (www.cambridgeenglish.org)

- Entrance Exam (personally or via Skype)
