Overview

Master's level nurses are experienced in characterizing the health status of the population and formulating problems, priorities, and aims in public health. They have the skills to conduct research and analyze technical literature, interpret the results of modern statistical methods, as well as perform tasks of organization and management related to the nursing process. Additionally, they are able to perform human resource management tasks related to nursing. The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) MSc program focuses on Primary and Community Health Care and Nursing.

Syllabus

• The first year of nursing training covers general topics like clinical interventions, diagnostics, and therapy.
• The second year contains more specific disciplines like family medicine, community nursing, health care management, infant and pediatric nursing, and diet therapy.
• The formal process for the Nursing MSc thesis is completed during the final year of training. The thesis topics need to be declared by the beginning of the second semester at the latest. Training is finished with written, practical, and oral Final Exams.
