BIC University Foundation Program – English Track

The University Foundation Program – English Track at Óbuda University is designed for students aspiring to pursue BIC partner programs, all of which are instructed in English. To qualify, you'll need a minimum B2 level of English proficiency. If the admission staff determines that your English proficiency isn't sufficient for immediate entry into a Bachelor's program, you'll have the opportunity to partake in a 1- or 2-semester English language preparatory program at BIC before seamlessly transitioning into your chosen study program.

Throughout the preparatory semester(s), you'll engage in English language, professional English, European culture, and elective courses. These classes are strategically designed to enhance your overall readiness for studying engineering, IT, or business within a European context. Under the guidance of the program's experienced and supportive professors, you'll rapidly develop the necessary language skills. From improving your reading and writing abilities to honing your spoken English, this preparatory track ensures you're well-equipped to tackle even complex subjects in English. This pathway offers a condensed yet comprehensive way to ensure your linguistic confidence and success as you embark on your academic journey in English-language programs.
