Program Description

The Environmental Engineering BSc program at Óbuda University is designed to nurture adept environmental engineers equipped with cutting-edge knowledge and skills across applied natural sciences, ecology, technology, economics, and management. Graduates emerge equipped to identify environmental hazards across diverse domains and apply their professional acumen to efficiently manage prevention and remediation actions. Armed with expertise, they play pivotal roles in combatting environmental pollution and damage, spearheading sustainable natural resource utilization, and orchestrating low-waste, energy-efficient technologies.

Throughout the program, students acquire the expertise to develop innovative solutions for waste recycling, hazardous waste disposal, and gain foundational insights into nature and landscape protection, environmental policy, and cross-professional communication. Their engineering qualifications, coupled with proficiency in a world language, enable them to effectively collaborate with national and international peers. Graduates are well-suited to design, organize, control, and creatively engage in environmental projects, demonstrating adaptability to evolving demands. This program not only prepares students for real-world challenges but also positions them for advanced studies at the master’s level.
