Program Description
The English Language, Culture, and Academic Skills preparatory course is primarily designed for students who need to improve their English language and/or academic skills to university-level fluency and get immersion into European and Hungarian culture.
Modules
- English in Use (Grammar & Writing)
- Communication Skills (Oral)
- Business English
- EU Studies
- Hungarian as a foreign language
Students are required to complete the foundation course in order to progress toward their BA/MA degree.
Students who successfully pass the PREP will earn a place in a BA /MA course at KJU on the condition they will have attained the passing mark by the end of the PREP semester.
Required Documents
- A pass mark in the module exams
- A pass mark in the Complex (written and oral) B2 (upper-intermediate)-level English Language Exam (must obtain a minimum of 60% of the total points)
- Regular attendance to all classes
