Polish Language and Literature MA

The Master of Arts program in Polish Language and Literature at Eotvos Lorand University offers a comprehensive curriculum that provides students with an extensive knowledge of the Polish language, literature, grammar, and history. Students in this program will have the opportunity to develop their oral and written proficiency in Polish while also studying the latest theories in sociolinguistics, textology, lexicology, stylistics, and phraseology. With a focus on European contexts, this program covers Polish literature from its early period to modern times. Upon completion of this 2-year program, students will be able to specialize further by choosing from courses such as translation studies or Slavic linguistics before preparing a final degree thesis.
