Physics MSc

The Master of Science in Physics program at Eötvös Loránd University is a two-year program that provides students with a comprehensive overview of the major fields of contemporary physics. The curriculum focuses on deepening the understanding and knowledge in subjects such as atomic and molecular physics, condensed matter physics, nuclear physics, particle physics, and statistical physics. Students will also have the opportunity to specialize in areas such as astrophysics, atomic and molecular physics, nuclear and heavy ion physics, biophysics, condensed matter physics, computational physics, environmental physics, particle physics, statistical physics and complex system. With a wide range of course offerings and hands-on laboratory experience in cutting-edge research topics such as quantum computing or photonics technology, this program equips graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to become professional researchers in their chosen fields. This program is designed for applicants who already have their BSc in Physics and are committed to making meaningful contributions towards advancing our collective understanding of the physical world.
