Linguistics Ph.D

The Doctoral School of Linguistics at Eotvos Lorand University provides a comprehensive doctoral program for students interested in advanced research and teaching expertise in the fields of Applied Linguistics, English Linguistics, Arabic Studies, Theoretical Linguistics, German Linguistics, Indian Studies, Intercultural Linguistics, Iranian Studies, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, Language pedagogy and English applied linguistics (in English only), Hungarian Linguistics, Mongolian Linguistics, Ancient Studies Russian Linguistics Romance Studies Sinology Slavic Linguistics Turkic Studies and Uralic Languages and Lingustics.

This three-year doctoral program offers a unique interdisciplinary approach to linguistics research by combining coursework from multiple disciplines such as linguistics theory and methodology with practical laboratory experience. Through this academic training students will gain the skills and knowledge needed to become experts in their chosen field while developing expertise within the latest research methodologies. The program also
