English and American Studies BA

The Bachelor of Arts in English and American Studies at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) is an innovative, comprehensive program that provides students with a deep understanding of English and American literature and culture. The program can be completed either as a major or a minor, giving students the opportunity to specialize in English or American studies. Students taking the program as a major will have the chance to explore topics such as linguistics, literature, film, theatre, history, and politics while developing their critical thinking skills. With its emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches and open dialogue between different disciplines, this program provides students with the opportunity to develop an informed and nuanced perspective on both language and culture.
