Dutch Language and Culture Studies MA

The Master of Arts in Dutch Language and Culture Studies at the Eotvos Lorand University is an innovative program that provides students with a comprehensive education in the language, literature, and culture of the Netherlands and Flemish Belgium. This two-year degree combines coursework from multiple disciplines, including linguistics, literature, history, translation studies, and cultural studies. Students will also gain hands-on experience through laboratory work where they can apply their knowledge to develop professional level proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch. Upon graduation, students will be well prepared for a variety of careers ranging from teaching to translation, as well as pursuing further research leading towards advanced degrees such as Doctoral programs allowing them to become experts within their chosen field while making meaningful contributions towards preserving the unique culture of the Low Countries.
