The Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology at Eotvos Lorand University is an innovative program that provides students with an in-depth understanding of the universal human characteristics and values in their diverse and complex manifestations. This two-year program combines critical and interpretative thinking with fieldwork experiences to help students develop an understanding of social interactions, cultural and intercultural communication, and their significances from an anthropological perspective. Students will learn about types and global characteristics of cultural diversity, theories and concepts related to both complex and traditional cultures, history, theories, methods, professional directions, ethical norms in the field of anthropology as well as professional problem solving skills to apply their knowledge for their own research or scientific work. Graduates from this program are well prepared for careers in international relations, communication or any other field where they can bring expertise on cultural issues.
