Chemistry MSc

The Master of Science in Chemistry program at Eötvös Loránd University provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in the major fields of analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry. Through obligatory lectures and laboratory practices as well as (semi-)elective courses, students are able to tailor their education to their areas of interest. With a good background in BSc level chemistry, students can begin focusing on their topic of interest right away. Those who are less knowledgeable in basic chemistry can complete resuming courses before delving into the program’s content.

Students have the opportunity to gain research experience in at least one main discipline of chemistry while acquiring skills for developing and applying ideas within a research project. Academic specializations are available when the number of specialized courses sums up to 26 credits among different groups.

At the end of the program, graduates will be equipped with advanced knowledge and skills in Chemistry that can be applied for successful careers in industry or research
