Ildikó Horváth – Associate Professor, Institute of Data Analysis and Information Systems (CIAS)
Ildikó entered Corvinus in 2023 as an assistant professor and research fellow. With a PhD in 2017 and a habilitation in computer science completed in 2023, her focus on the cognitive aspects of soft computing has positioned her as a leading expert. Her research group “Cognitive Aspects of Soft Computing” boasts over 1,000 citations.
She has delivered approx. 2,000 hours of higher education lectures, offering courses ranging from foundational data science to advanced calculus in AI. Ildikó actively supervises BA, MA, and PhD students and participates in both national and international research collaborations, including the IEEE Hungarian Section and the John von Neumann Society.
Ferenc Kollárik – Assistant Professor, Institute of Global Studies
Ferenc joined the Department of World Economy in 2022 following a PhD obtained at Corvinus. His research examines theories of European integration, the political economy of the European Union, and the functioning of the European Economic and Monetary Union.

Alberto brings an international perspective from his role as a professor at the University of Turin and director of the Executive Master’s Program in Strategic Human Resource Management. He coordinates the Business Management PhD course and is scientific director of the European Center for Business Research.
His research blends rigorous theory with practical relevance. With over 8,000 Scopus citations and an H‑index of 52, Alberto’s work appears in prominent journals and shapes industry‑led research initiatives. He also lends his expertise to the EuroMed Academy and several editorial boards.
Giuseppe Marco Attanasi – Research Professor, Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CIAS)
Giuseppe, originally from Italy, earned a PhD from Bocconi University before obtaining the HDR qualification at the University of Strasbourg. His career has spanned multiple European institutions, including Strasbourg, Lille, and the University of Côte d’Azur, and he currently serves as a professor at Sapienza University of Rome.
Attanasi’s research lies at the intersection of behavioral economics, organizational design, and innovation studies. He has contributed to top-tier journals, amassed 450 Scopus citations, and has mentoring experience with doctoral candidates across Europe.
