English-Hungarian High School Grade 11 at AIC offers dual preparation alongside A Level -1, preparing students for both paths. The program empowers students to simultaneously pursue A Level -1 and Grade 11, enhancing their language and science skills. This year introduces students to university admission requirements and aligns with Hungarian educational standards.
Grade 11 builds on Grade 10 subjects, delving deeper into languages and sciences, with a focus on Hungarian and English within CEFR standards. The curriculum encompasses A Level 1 or AS Level content and allows students to initiate their IB Diploma Program. Successful completion of Grade 11 equips students with advanced language and science proficiency, preparing them for university studies.
As in previous years, students take exams such as IELTS, FEDE, TOEFL, etc. Grade 11 runs in parallel with AS Level and IBDP-1, adhering to Ministry of Education regulations. Qualified educators with advanced degrees guide students through the curriculum.
Upon completion, students meeting AS Level requirements (if enrolled) progress to AS Level or IBDP-1. Student activities are monitored by both Hungary's Ministry of Education and international accreditation authorities. Extracurricular activities nurture well-rounded "Global Citizens." The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects: Hungarian as a Second Language (for non-Hungarian students), English European Culture and Civilization, German, Mathematics, History, Ethics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Art, Geography, Drawing / Visual Arts, Physical Education, Consultation Class.
