International Relations BA

The International Relations BA degree is an interdisciplinary course addressing key global challenges, issues, and approaches to politics.

Overview

The goal of the program is to train highly qualified experts with a broad education in the social sciences. We have a wide range of courses focusing on global issues, dealing with developing countries and the growing Asian states, while we can offer a deep insight into the European and Central Eastern European issues.

Syllabus

• 1st semester: World History in the 20th Century I-II, Political Geography (Processes of creating a modern state), The History and Institutions of European Integration, Introduction to international relations.
• 2nd semester: Introduction to Social Communication, International Negotiation Techniques, The History of International Relations I-II.
• 3rd semester: Fundamentals of Political Law, Comparative Politics I-II, International Law I-II, Globalization.
• 4th semester: International Economics, Introduction to Diplomacy, International Civil Society, Sectoral Policies in the EU I-II.
• 5th semester: Regionalism and Governance, The Issue of European Integration and Nations, International Studies in Practice.
• 6th semester: Social Philosophy, Current Affairs/World Politics in the British and American Media, Introduction to Migration Policy, Introduction to Security Policy.
